Me inicié en la investigación a través de mi tesis doctoral donde estudié el efecto del agregado de diferentes fases grasas sobre sistemas modelo a base de espesantes (harina de trigo y diferentes tipos de almidón) e hidrocoloide (goma xántica). Me especialicé en técnicas reológicas, transientes y dinámicas. Luego de mi doctorado incursioné en la actividad privada donde me desempeñé en varias empresas como directora técnica y como jefe de investigación y desarrollo de una empresa de alimentos.
