Mi campo de acción principal se encuentra en el área de investigación, innovación, aprovechamiento, transformación, procesamiento de materias primas y subproductos de la cadena agroindustrial. A través de la pasantía de investigación en Argentina sobre matrices bioactivas a base de polen apícola me capacité en técnicas de análisis fisicoquímico específicas del polen, análisis composicional de alimentos, técnicas espectrofotométricas, espectroscopía infrarroja, entre otras. En la práctica empresarial, también realizada en dicho país, sobre envases biodegradables recibí formación específica acerca de películas con acción antioxidante en alimentos. Además de las técnicas empleadas durante la formación académica, en los proyectos extracurriculares participé activamente en diversos temas: Aprovechamiento agroindustrial del lactosuero en conservas de fresa, Aprovechamiento de subproductos del fique para curtición, Elaboración de concentrado para codornices a base de almendra de icaco, Desarrollo de producto cosmético a base de aceite de Icaco y cayena, Elaboración de néctar de pomelo... *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
