Soy investigadora del Instituto de Tecnología de Alimentos (INTA) e investigadora Adjunta de CONICET. Mi formación científica comenzó en virología veterinaria, especializándome en la expresión de proteínas recombinantes para el desarrollo de vacunas (rotavirus, virus respiratorio sincicial bovino). Actualmente, mi investigación se centra en la detección, caracterización y control de patógenos transmitidos por alimentos. Lidero y colaboro en proyectos sobre virus entéricos (norovirus, rotavirus, adenovirus, hepatitis A y E) y bacterias como E. coli O157:H7, Salmonella spp. y Campylobacter spp. en matrices alimentarias y ambientales. Mi trabajo integra diagnóstico molecular, vigilancia ambiental y estrategias de intervención para mitigar riesgos. Mi compromiso es generar conocimiento aplicado y soluciones innovadoras para mejorar la seguridad alimentaria y la salud pública, fomentando la articulación interdisciplinaria entre ciencia, tecnología y sociedad. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
