Nuestras líneas se centra en el estudio de las bases moleculares, genéticas y epigenéticas que determinan la generación de una respuesta inmune protectiva frente a M. tuberculosis. El grupo tiene amplia experiencia en cultivo celular, citometría de flujo, inmunofluorescencia, ELISA, qPCR, western blot, ARNi, purificación de poblaciones celulares, etc. Luego de mi radicación en la UNNOBA, atendiendo necesidades de la región hemos iniciado nuevas líneas que incluyen la detección molecular de C. ... Nuestras líneas se centra en el estudio de las bases moleculares, genéticas y epigenéticas que determinan la generación de una respuesta inmune protectiva frente a M. tuberculosis. El grupo tiene amplia experiencia en cultivo celular, citometría de flujo, inmunofluorescencia, ELISA, qPCR, western blot, ARNi, purificación de poblaciones celulares, etc. Luego de mi radicación en la UNNOBA, atendiendo necesidades de la región hemos iniciado nuevas líneas que incluyen la detección molecular de C. difficile y el estudio de los mecanismos inmunológicos que producen la inmunopatología en esta infección nosocomial con un fuerte impacto en la salud. Así como también la búsqueda de nuevas estrategias terapéuticas dirigidas al hospedador, específicamente la utilización de Aloe vera com un agente anti-microbiano e inmuno-modulatorio frente a la CDI. Para esto, trabajamos tanto utilizando un modelo experimental en ratón como muestras humanas de pacientes infectados y controles.
