Las líneas de trabajo del grupo de investigación se se centran en el estudio de la respuesta inmune frente a la infección por C. difficile y por M. tuberculosis, así como también la interacción entre ambas infecciones estudiando el eje intestino/pulmón. El grupo tiene amplia experiencia en cultivo celular, citometría de flujo, inmunofluorescencia, ELISA, PCR en tiempo real, western blot, generación y transfección con ARN de interferencia, purificación de poblaciones celulares, entre otras. Las líneas de trabajo del grupo de investigación se se centran en el estudio de la respuesta inmune frente a la infección por C. difficile y por M. tuberculosis, así como también la interacción entre ambas infecciones estudiando el eje intestino/pulmón. El grupo tiene amplia experiencia en cultivo celular, citometría de flujo, inmunofluorescencia, ELISA, PCR en tiempo real, western blot, generación y transfección con ARN de interferencia, purificación de poblaciones celulares, entre otras. Para esto, trabajamos tanto utilizando un modelo experimental en ratón como muestras humanas de pacientes infectados y controles.
