Las líneas de trabajo del grupo de investigación se centran en el estudio de la respuesta inmune frente a la infección por Clostridioides difficile, tanto en modelo in vivo murino, como en muestras humanas de pacientes infectados. Se emplean diversas técnicas como cultivo celular, citometría de flujo, inmunofluorescencia, ELISA, PCR en tiempo real, western blot, generación y transfección con ARN de interferencia, purificación de poblaciones celulares, entre otras.
