Resumen

Santamariana... un legado de mil años it’s a exposition originally created in an itinerant format, using various museographic resources, including digital ones, with the goal to facilitate access of some archaeological objects from the collection of the Instituto de Arqueología y Museo, Facultad de Ciencias Naturales e Instituto Miguel Lillo, Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, Argentina, this is done through a confluence of knowledge and with a perspective that emphasizes the durability of certain ancestral legacies . The actual global sanitarian situation led to the adaptation of this display, through digital tools that allow its accessibility in different parts of the world with an Internet connection. At this moment, the exposition is open in its digital dimension, free of charge, to all interested parties with Internet access. In this paper we share our experiences with the digital strategy and its possibilities to achieve the objectives set out in the original exhibition and as an opening to the future, towards new forms of interaction between museum and public.
