The article analyzes the trajectory of the Tucumán branch of the General Confederation of Labor between 1943 and 1949. In particular, it questions the transformation process introduced by the emergence of the Tucumana Workers' Federation of the Sugar Industry (1944) in the course of the CGT, the disputes between the different union actors to define the course of the central and its projections. in the party-political arena.
