Mi trabajo se centra en el desarrollo de materiales funcionales a partir de recursos renovables, con especial interés en el aprovechamiento de residuos. Tengo experiencia en modificación química de biopolímeros y en el diseño de materiales aplicados, principalmente, al tratamiento de aguas contaminadas. Actualmente, trabajo en el desarrollo de bioplásticos biobasados y biodegradables, contribuyendo a mitigar el impacto ambiental asociado a los residuos plásticos. La investigación busca aportar soluciones innovadoras a problemas ambientales relevantes, promoviendo el uso eficiente de los recursos naturales y la transferencia de conocimiento al sector productivo. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
