El tema de mi Tesis Doctoral fue el estudio de la estructura de los Polisacáridos de algas rojas y, desde ese momento siempre he trabajado en el campo de los hidratos de carbono. Realicé una estadía posdoctoral en síntesis de antivirales usando como materia prima derivados de hidratos de carbono. Actualmente me dedico a la modificación química de polisacáridos combinando mi experiencia en análisis estructural de estos biopolímeros con mi experiencia en síntesis, El objetivo es obtener materiales útiles para el saneamiento ambiental y la liberación controlada de agroquímicos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
