Me motiva la investigación para fomentar la sostenibilidad ecológica, social y económica de los sistemas agropecuarios y forestales. Mis estudios tratan sobre agroecología, apicultura, biodiversidad, interacciones entre plantas e insectos (herbivoría, polinización, plagas), servicios ambientales y su contribución al bienestar humano. Mis trabajos han tenido un fuerte énfasis cuantitativo, desarrollando y aplicando nuevos modelos estadísticos. Me interesa vincularme con los políticos, productores y consumidores de modo que las investigaciones tengan impacto sobre la calidad de vida. Dedico buena parte de mi tiempo trabajando ad-honorem en plataformas intergubernamentales científico-políticas, asociaciones de productores y apicultores, programas de radio, proyectos de ley, etc. Desde los 18 años participo ininterrumpidamente en docencia universitaria en ambos cuatrimestres. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
