Mi formación científica se concentra en el campo de la biocatálisis. He trabajado principalmente con enzimas carbohidrato-activas y citocromos P450, con énfasis en la búsqueda de catalizadores no convencionales, ya sea por la especificidad o la selectividad de los mismos. Así, tengo experiencia en la búsqueda de microorganismos productores de las mismas (a partir de muestras ambientales y por minería genómica), cultivo microbiano, clonado y expresión funcional en distintos hosts (bacterias y levaduras), purificación de proteínas (nativas y recombinantes), caracterización bioquímica y estabilización de los catalizadores para la aplicación en diversos procesos. Completa mi perfil el análisis químico de los productos de reacción en cuanto a cuantificación y elucidación estructural. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
