I am interested in the interrelationship between animals and their environments, and particularly in how ecosystems and its functions have changed through time in response to major events in the history of the Earth. I use animal-sediment interactions as a proxy for investigating such questions. My projects are currently focused on: (1) The role of tetrapod footprints on continental ichnofacies models and paleoenvironmental reconstruction; (2) Implication of tetrapod ichnology in the reco... My projects are currently focused on: (1) The role of tetrapod footprints on continental ichnofacies models and paleoenvironmental reconstruction; (2) Implication of tetrapod ichnology in the reconstruction of arid-semiarid environments and ancient ecosystems; and (3) the ichnological evidence of evolution of South American mammals.
