Desde mi licenciatura trabajo en diferentes tópicos relacionados a la contaminación marina y el uso de bioindicadores. Luego desarrollé mi tesis doctoral en el área de la ecotoxicología incluyendo una estancia de doctorado en la FURG Brasil, donde aprendí técnicas analíticas para la determinación de contaminantes. Se generó información novedosa sobre las alteraciones morfo-funcionales por contaminantes asociados a la actividad marítima y antrópica en gasterópodos comestibles de golfo Nuevo así como los primeros registros de metales, estrés oxidativo asociado al imposex y dosis letal media de TBT. Los resultados han sido expuestos en eventos científicos y publicaciones. Durante el postdoc he estudiado la transferencia de contaminantes a través de las tramas tróficas donde están involucradas especies de alto valor comercial con relación a la seguridad alimentaria. Hoy me desempeño como investigadora desarrollando la línea en Seguridad alimentaria de recursos pesqueros patagónicos en el Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo Tecnológico en Acuicultura, Pesca y Alimentos en UTN-FRCH *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
