El trabajo de nuestro grupo está orientada al desarrollo de películas e hidrogeles a base de materiales biodegradables. El material más usado es el quitosano pero hemos formulado sistemas con otros polímeros como carboximetilcelulosa, alcohol polivinílico, gelatina, ácido poliláctico.Las principales técnicas utilizadas son DSC, DMA, FTIR así como aquellas que permiten determinar propiedades como permeabilidad al vapor de agua, a los gases y propiedades mecánicas.La investigación está enfocada hacia la liberación de principios activos desde estos sistemas biodegradables con posible aplicación en el campo de alimentos, agroquímicos y farmaceútico. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
