The images found in the newspaper La Gaceta, the main daily newspaper in the province, were analyzed based on an inquiry methodology that makes use of different aspects of the images. In crossroads with other documentary sources, we place the context of production and circulation of these photographs and we propose that these images are a testimony of the violence that shaped all life in these towns of southern Tucumán, and they bring us closer to the context of political violence and violence. the forced disappearance of people.
