Within the context of profound changes that have been taking place in China forthe past decades, and especially during the last years, not only in relation witheconomy, but also with society and culture, it is necessary to consider one of themain elements of Chinese culture in this changing context: its traditional medicalsystem. Many debates and research projects attending to the China?s developmenthave emerged from different areas of China studies, mostly from economics, politics and international studies. However, as it is not possible to dissociate culturefrom these and other spheres, and considering that Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) constitutes one of its principal axis with thousands of years of knowledgeand experience, some questions cannot remain unanswered. The ways in which thismillennial practice is oriented and developed in the New Era become a wide area tobe explored. Información suministrada por el agente en SIGEVAPalabras Clave
