Resumen *

This work presents a study of the multiphonics of thesaxophone from the points of view of timbral analysis andmusical performance. A multiphonics categorization into fourgroups was previously proposed, starting from a musicalanalysis and further validated by psychophysical experimentsand spectral analysis tools. This classification served to identifyrelevant timbral attributes of the studied multiphonics, such asmodulation frequency, spectral center of gravity and roughness. The present work extends the analysis to the spectral morphingof multiphonics, generated by the continuous modification ofthe playing parameters. These morphings are studied in acomparative view as trajectories in a timbral space, based onthe aforementioned attributes, and in terms of their feasibilityin the instrument. From this comparative analysis a dynamiccharacterization of the proposed multiphonic groups is derived. Información suministrada por el agente en SIGEVA
