Resumen *

We report the presence of a copepod, Lernaea cyprinacea (Crustacea), affecting three adults (48.1-54.1 mm SL) of torrent catfish Trichomycterus corduvensis (Siluriformes) in Los Bretes a tributary of the San Juan River from southern of South America. The ectoparasites were attached to opercular, pectoral, and abdominal region. This is the first record of parasitism of Lernaea in Trichomycteridae family and a new locality from Andean Mountain of Argentina. Información suministrada por el agente en SIGEVA
