BELGRANO CARGAS. EFECTOS TERRITORIALES DE  LA POLÍTICA DE TRANSPORTE SCHWEITZER, Mariana Investigadora CONICET-UBA- Researcher maschw@fadu.uba.ar RESUMEN De la mano del nacimiento del Ferrocarril Belgrano como ferrocarril de fomento y de desarrollo en manos del Estado, recorriendo zonas donde los ferrocarriles privados no resultaban rentables a la economía agroexportadora, surgieron numerosos poblados que vieron en este ferrocarril más que un medio de transporte. A partir de los ´90, este ferrocarril que tuvo una red en operación de 7.300 km de longitud a través de los cuales transportaba cargas y pasajeros, ha ido profundizando procesos de desactivación de ramales que ya venían produciéndose desde décadas atrás, con repercusiones territoriales significativas. El trabajo analiza la evolución del Belgrano Cargas y su relación con la configuración del territorio nacional, desde su puesta en funcionamiento hasta la actualidad, identifica los proyectos que existen  sobre el mismo, algunos ya avanzados, y el proceso de gestión que se lleva adelante para su implementación. TERRITORIAL EFFECTS OF THE TRANSPORT POLICY ABSTRACT Starting with the creation of Belgrano railway, promoted and Developed by the State, connecting territories where private railway were not profitable for the agro-exporter economy, many new settlements grow up. Since the `90s this railway that reach a network of 7.300 km of longitudes through which transports cargo and passangers, has deepen process of paralysis of services that already were happening in previous decades, with significant territorial aftermath. This research analyze the evolution of Belgrano cargo and its relationship wit the shaping of the national territory, since its creation till the present, identifying existing projects, some of them in progress and the management process taken for its implementation.
