In this chapter we explore the current research on the effects of environmental changes of tropical dry ecosystems on the mycorrhizal symbioses. Factors affecting indigenous mycorrhiza in the tropical dry region of Brazil and their possible role in the composition, stability and productivity of plant communities are discuss.
