Mamá Cultiva Argentina is a self-managed civil society organization whose goal is to achieve a legal framework for cannabis cultivation. It was born in a context of expansion of Argentine feminism. It is formed mostly by cis women from middle and lower middle sectors, for whom feminism has been a key to question and problematize power relationships within and outside their organization. Taking into account the above, this article proposes, from a qualitative methodology: i) to describe and analyze the activism of these women, by observing the influence of certain feminist ideologies —such as their circulation in the public space, empowerment and the generation of alliances— and ii) to investigate how, from there, they configure their perspectives on care and self-care.
