For a forest estate of 50 management units, we propose a methodology of forest managing based on multiple objectives. A forest planning model based on stochastic programming goals (SPG) is presented. Classical techniques proposed a constant discount rate of Net Present Value (NPV) in the life of the project. Randomness is incorporated in the discount rate in the NPV function to Consumer Price Index (CPI) from historical series from Argentina. The stochastic optimization allows more solid results for decision making in forest sector because the future is presented as a family of scenarios.Palabras Clave
