Resumen

The article reconstructs the censorship suffered by the film Kindergarten (Jorge Polaco, 1989). From the analysis of various documents (statements in the press, anonymous writings, official reports) it is sought to show how during these years certain sectors associated to the Catholic Church still remained active occupying power spaces. The study will show how they built joint actions more typical of the immediate past than of the political present. In this way, the “Kindergarten affair” appears as a key example of the transitional nature of the first years of the Argentine post-dictatorship.
