The study of the town of Santa Ana, where the homonymous mill was built at the end of the 19th century, reveals the presence of a previous neighborhood structure that formed the town as a civic and commercial center. The workers lived in the housing complex built in the mill and carried out their civic duties and consumption in the village. Such practices limited the control of industry management.
