Resumen

This article analyzes the evolution of the real estate market in Rosario from 1916 to 1966. It aims to identify the relationship between the economic cycles and the real estate cycles in the long term. The main objective is to produce series of sales, prices and building of properties in the city of Rosario, based on primary sources. We also systematized the housing policies that impacted on the evolution of the real estate market. Finally, we analyze the influence of the macroeconomic environment and the government policy on the Rosario real estate market in different economic periods.
