The hypothesis of this research is based on the existence of a tension between violence and love during the first dating relationships of young, heterosexual, middle class individuals in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA). In order to address this hypothesis, this work proposes a theoretical and methodological approach capable of problematizing and interrelating both concepts. Subsequently, in light of this perspective, scenes of violence are described from the vantage point of the actor... Subsequently, in light of this perspective, scenes of violence are described from the vantage point of the actors themselves, inside a record of joy and love, as are scenes that reveal the transition between moments of struggle and moments of pleasure within the relationship.
