The National University of José C. Paz (UNPAZ) was created by law in 2009 in José C. One of the axes of the university proposal has been the articulation with the territory, taking into account social problems and the players’ environment with local incidence, in order to promote an inclusive university project in accordance with the interests of La Paz reality. The aim of the work is to address from a territorial perspective the relational network among actors that is built as from the installation of the university, taking into account the network of organizations and actors (economic, social, trade union, religious, state) with a local presence. For that purpose, the characteristics of these organizations, the link with José C. Paz and with UNPAZ are studied, taking into account the perceptions and perspectives of the interviewed actors. We start from the idea that UNPAZ, in its strategic location, contributes to the reconfiguration of a territoriality with particularities in José C. Paz, due to its role as a university institution, in articulation with the dynamics and problems of the social and urban environment. This article is based on a qualitative methodological strategy, through semi-structured interviews with various actors and leading players among neighborhood organizations and institutions with an impact on José C. Paz.
