We analyzed food vulnerability in Tucuman (Argentina), where food and nutritional problems had the most regrettable consequences in 2002. From a territorial anchoring approach, we discuss this problem and propose an indicator, which permitted an approximation with high geographical disaggregation of the information, operating on the basis of the National Census of Population, Households and Housing (2010). The results warned a critical panorama, with difficulties to ensure optimal levels of nutrition, especially in children.
