Los dilemas del Estado moderno según Max Weber: un recorrido por sus Escritos Políticos (1917-1920)

Resumen

the objective of this article is to identify and define Weber´s conceptual contributions to the study of the modern State in his Political Writings for the 1917-1920 lapse. From a critical content analysis, I identify four central axes or problems that have the form of dilemmas or dichotomies: “political leadership-bureaucratic despotism”, “parliamentarianism-government of the mob and cesarism”, “parliamentarianism- bureaucratic absolutism”, “rentist bureaucratization -Capitalism”. The central problem that these dilemmas account to is, according to what I maintain, the organization of the capitalist State in a key historical moment for the bourgeois political hegemony.
