Resumen *

Jorge Prelorán made more than sixty feature and short films. But, as much as the number over whelms, he would have wanted to do more. He had several projects that ranged from being ideas or just sketches to scripts or films being abandoned in the pre-production process. There were also possible films planned over a span of forty years that, for various reasons, were not made. From the investigation of the Prelorán Archive at the Smithsonian Institution, these pieces emerge to be considered critically in order to reassemble the puzzle that is each filmmaker´s career. In Prelorán’s case, these truncated projects were preserved by him neatly so that scholars from posterity can try to spread them out on the table. Several questions may surface-- what would have happened if he had made any of those projects into films? What affected there (non) making? What trajectory of a filmmaker’s career can rationalize his truncated projects? Información suministrada por el agente en SIGEVA
