Labour platforms are a globally widespread business model thatdeveloped thanks to the the growth of digital technology. In LatinAmerican countries, including Argentina, these platforms have expandedrapidly as a major opportunity for generating sources of employment and income. Furthermore, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, theseplatforms have become an employment shelter for a large share of thepopulation that has been hit by the loss of jobs and income. However,access to platform work does not necessarily imply that the workingconditions are fair. The main goal of this report is to identify and analysethe working conditions in these platforms.
