Mi doctorado se desarrolló en Química Orgánica, en la especial deextracción, purificación y caracterización de productos naturales y el posterior desarrollo de su síntesis química.Actualmente trabajo en el diseño y síntesis en fase sólida de péptidos sintéticos con actividad antimicrobiana y como inhibidores enzimáticos. Ademas estamos realizando estudios peptidómicos de pieles de anfibios anuros en la búsqueda de nuevos péptidos bioactivos.
