Me intereso en el estudio de ecosistemas acuáticos continentales, principalmente arroyos y ríos pequeños. En ellos realizo estudios de metabolismo estimando la producción y respiración de todo el sistema y de cada una de las comunidades biológicas. Dentro de las comunidades biológicas he puesto especial énfasis en el estudio de las conformadas por algas (perifiton, fitobentos). Habitualmente realizo microscopía óptica, análisis químico de muestras de agua, y estimaciones de metabolismo mediante la utilización de sensores ópticos de oxígeno disuelto con datta logger que permiten el registro continuo de información por 24 horas o más. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
