Desde mi ingreso a INBIOFIV siendo estudiante de la Licenciatura en Biotecnología, realice mi trabajo final evaluando las propiedades nutricionales y funcionales de frutos nativos del NOA. Luego accedí a una beca doctoral CONICET con la que me formé bajo la dirección de la Dra. ISLA trabajando con especies de jarillas que crecen en la región del Monte (Valles Calchaquíes) y especies de la Puna Argentina a las que caractericé desde el punto de vista químico y funcional desarrollando además productos de interés en fitomedicina (óvulos, tabletas y microcápsulas). Durante mi carrera científica realicé tres estancias en el exterior bajo la supervisión de la Dra. López López-Rubio del grupo de envases del IATA-CSIC (Valencia, España) donde trabajé en la estabilización de extractos o fracciones fenólicas obtenidas de plantas medicinales, alimenticias y propóleos mediante su combinación con biopolímeros para generar microcápsulas, fibras y films bioactivos. He publicado 12 trabajos en revistas indexadas y tres capítulos de libros sobre estas temáticas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
