Luis G. Moyano es Licenciado en Física (Instituto Balseiro, Bariloche), en el año 2000. Es Doctor en Ciencias Físicas (CBPF, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil), en el área de Física Estadística. Fue investigador invitado en el Santa Fe Institute, Estados Unidos, en 2005 y 2006. Asimismo, fue investigador invitado en la UNAM, en Ciudad de México y también en la Universidad de Hokkaido (Japón). En 2007 y 2008 fue investigador postdoctoral por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, España, en donde desarrolló trabajos relacionados con teoria de juegos. Entre 2008 y 2012 fue investigador permanente de Telefónica Research en Madrid, en donde desarrolló investigación aplicada en redes complejas. En 2013 trabajó como investigador permanente en BBVA, en donde estudió aplicaciones de técnicas matemáticas y estadísticas a grandes conjuntos de datos. Entre 2014 hasta 2016 trabajó en IBM Research, Rio de Janeiro, estudiando técnicas avanzadas de aprendizaje de máquina a grandes conjuntos de datos y redes complejas. Desde 2016 es investigador del CONICET. Es docente del Instituto Balseiro desde 2021. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
