Como estudiante comencé la formación en especies reactivas del oxígeno, estrés oxidativo y homeostasis redox asociados a patologías y a la sobrecarga de metales de transición, en especial el cobre. Actualmente ya graduada, y a partir de los conocimientos adquiridos durante el desarrollo de la beca, como estudiante, continúo mi formación en el área estudiando el efecto del cobre en la agregación de proteínas y este proceso a su vez asociado a patologías crónicas.
