El desarrollo profesional abarca una experiencia de 35 años en el trabajo de laboratorio, tanto en el área científico académica como asistencial. Las tareas asistenciales comprenden el manejo de técnicas de inmunofluorescencia, ELISA, microscopiía óptica reacciones químicas aplicadas al diagnóstico y seguimiento de enfermedades infecciones virales y bacterianas, reactantes de fase aguda, dosaje de anticuerpos y antígenos, enfermedades inflamatorias y autoinmunes, todas estas determinaciones fueron realizadas en el laboratorio de Bioquímica Clínica del Hospital de Clínicas José de San Martín. En paralelo y hasta la actualidad he desarrollado una amplia experiencia en la determinación de marcadores de estrés y daño oxidativo en diversas enfermedades, especialmente las enfermedades neurodegenerativas, con dominio de metodología específica como quimiolumniniscencia, fluorometría, espectrofotometría óptica y ultravioleta, consumo de oxígeno y biología molecular, y los mecanismos moleculares que generan la agregación de proteínas circulantes.
