Soy bioquímica, especialista en hematología. En la era de la secuenciación de última generación (NGS) creo de suma importancia la incorporación de la bioinformática como herramienta de soporte para el diagnóstico y pronóstico de los pacientes oncológicos. El poder analizar los datos crudos de secuenciación, encontrar variantes génicas, asociarlas a la metadata disponible y beneficiar al paciente realizando medicina personalizada y de precisión. Es por ello, que me encuentro avocada a un proyecto de investigación para analizar datos genómicos y transcriptómicos en pos de identificar variantes estructurales capaces de originar neoantígenos que sirvan como biomarcador en inmunoterapia tumoral y abran la puerta a su incorporación en estrategias vacunales, significando un aporte de importancia para el avance de la medicina de precisión. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
