Mi área de experticia es la microbiología, abordada desde el estudio de la teoría de la ecología microbiana. He trabajado con aislamientos, cultivos e identificación de cepas bacterianas y bacteriófagos ambientales, así como con genómica y metagenómica de sistemas biotecnológicos ambientales.Mi proyecto actual consiste en comprender las bases de la compleja interaccion entre bacteriofagos y bacterias en comunidades microbianas complejas y reales. Integramos datos fenotipicos con datos genomicos.
