Doctor en Ingeniería, especializado en la adaptación de la teoría acústica para la estimación de concentraciones de arena en suspensión y velocidades de las partículas de arena que se mueven por el fondo de un cauce aluvial. Las técnicas desarrolladas apuntan a actualizar las que normalmente se aplican en campo para la medición de la estructura tridimensional del flujo y el transporte de material de fondo en cauces aluviales.
