Durante 6 años, la especialización de mis estudios se ha enfocado en las aplicaciones biotecnológicas de los microorganismos, principalmente en la industria alimenticia. Por lo tanto he adquirido una vasta experiencia en técnicas microbiológicas clásicas y de vanguardia (por ej. las nuevas tecnologías ómicas) para el estudio de las características y del potencial tecnológico de los microorganismos, en particular bacterias. Mi expertice parte desde el estudio de comunidades microbianas (análisis bioquímico y genético -metagenómica, DGGE-) hasta el aislamiento, la identificación (bioquímica y genética) y la caracterización de los microorganismos de interés, mediante técnicas de microbiología general y biología molecular (PCR, qRT-PCR, RAPD-PCR, REP-PCR, PFGE, clonado, Genómica) en sistemas in vitro e in vivo. Análisis de datos (DNASTAR 11.2.1.25, DNAman 6.0, SeqScape v2.5, Sequencing Analysis v5.3.1,Chromas Lite 2.3, Mothur V.1.35.0, MEGAN5, Bionumerics v7.5, RAST, MG-RAST, BAGEL3, etc) y manejo de bases de datos (NCBI, RDP, EMBL-EBI, Bactibase, etc) *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
