Mi investigación se centra en comprender la estructura, el funcionamiento y la resiliencia de los ecosistemas marinos polares frente al cambio global, utilizando herramientas moleculares avanzadas como eDNA-metabarcoding y transcriptómica. Me interesa especialmente cómo las redes tróficas y las respuestas fisiológicas de los organismos antárticos cambian ante el calentamiento y la acidificación del océano. Además, participo en iniciativas que promueven enfoques multi-ómicos (genómica, transcrip...
Mi investigación se centra en comprender la estructura, el funcionamiento y la resiliencia de los ecosistemas marinos polares frente al cambio global, utilizando herramientas moleculares avanzadas como eDNA-metabarcoding y transcriptómica. Me interesa especialmente cómo las redes tróficas y las respuestas fisiológicas de los organismos antárticos cambian ante el calentamiento y la acidificación del océano. Además, participo en iniciativas que promueven enfoques multi-ómicos (genómica, transcriptómica, proteómica y metabolómica) para estudiar la biodiversidad polar. Durante mi formación, adquirí experiencia en genética de poblaciones, filogeografía, expresión génica y técnicas de secuenciación de nueva generación. También trabajo con herramientas estadísticas y bioinformáticas para el análisis de datos genéticos, incluyendo el uso de R, Anaconda y Obitools.
