I am focused on studying the interaction between Extracellular Matrix(ECM) components, immune (such as macrophages, DC) and other stromal cells in a tumoral context. The studies concentrate on the GAG hyaluronic acid and its sulfated derivates as tumor modulators in cancer of different etiology. The area of expertise is the "study of the tumor microenvironment" in murine and human models. The methods carried out in my career are related to analyzing AH glycobiology: GAG tissue extraction, histochemical staining, detection by cytometry, confocal microscopy, ELISA. Real-time PCR gene analysis, plasmid transfection, and expression of associated proteins, such as TSG-6. Cell culture techniques (tumor lines and primary culture of immune cells). Manipulation of immunocompetent and immunosuppressed mice in orthotopic and subcutaneous models. Angiogenesis techniques: 2D migration, vessel formation. Immune assays: CML, surface/intracellular markers expression by cytometry *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
