Phytochemical characterization and analysis of organic compounds. Bio-guided purification and isolation of compounds by TLC,CC,RP-HPLC,GC-MS,U/HPLC-MS. Identification by analysis structural methods (1D/2D-NMR, GC-MS, U/HPLC(DAD)ESI-MS, UV-Vis). Experimental design, conducting and execution of in vitro assays (antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and toxicological activities) based on cell culture (2D/3D) or cell-free systems. Enzymology. Technical skills in Microbiology (bacteria, yeasts, microalgae), microscopy, Western-Blot, immunofluorescence, in vivo toxicological assays (acute and sub-chronic oral toxicity OECD). Designing and processing for collection, herborization and extraction from plants. Biotechnology: Experimental design for microalgae and plant cell cultures. Pharmaceutical micro/nano preparations. Statistical analyses and writing of scientific and academic publications. Direction of bachelor/doctoral thesis (Biotechnology, Biochemistry).
