Experiencia en el campo de procesamiento y modificación de materiales vegetales (oleaginosas: girasol, canola, chía; y otras semillas: cártamo, cardo de castilla, alpiste). Estudio de acondicionamiento de granos (secado, pretratamientos convencionales y emergentes: microondas). Extracción de aceite utilizando tecnologías convencionales, emergentes (ultrasonido) y solventes verdes. Extracción de productos de alto valor agregado. Modificación de aceites vegetales (hidrogenación): estudio estadístico experimental y modelado físico de la reacción catalítica.
