El área de trabajo es la biorrefinería de residuos lignocelulósicos, haciendo hincapié en los residuos abudantes de la región de Nordeste Argentino (cascarilla de arroz, rastrojo de algodón, aserrín de algarrobo negro, entro otros). Trabajo en la optimización de métodos químicos para lograr el fraccionamiento integral de la biomasa lignocelulósica para la obtención de productos de mayor valor.Actualmente me encuentro trabajando en la obtención de nanocristales de celulosa a partir de residuos agro forestoindustriales mediante técnicas innovadoras basadas en química verde. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
