Mis investigaciones incluyen estudios genéticos, genético-poblacionales, biogeográficos, ecológicos, morfológicos, filogeográficos, de biología reproductiva y estadísticos. Están orientados a analizar los procesos genéticos, ecológicos e históricos que operaron, a distintas escalas espaciales y temporales, en la generación y mantenimiento de los patrones actuales de biodiversidad de la flora del Dominio Chaqueño. Además, se combinan datos genéticos con modelos de nicho ecológico a fin de analiz... Mis investigaciones incluyen estudios genéticos, genético-poblacionales, biogeográficos, ecológicos, morfológicos, filogeográficos, de biología reproductiva y estadísticos. Están orientados a analizar los procesos genéticos, ecológicos e históricos que operaron, a distintas escalas espaciales y temporales, en la generación y mantenimiento de los patrones actuales de biodiversidad de la flora del Dominio Chaqueño. Además, se combinan datos genéticos con modelos de nicho ecológico a fin de analizar la relación entre las características del paisaje y el ambiente y los patrones de distribución y de estructuración genética de diversas especies. Por otra parte, para contribuir a la conservación y uso sustentable de la biodiversidad regional, se evalúa el impacto de la fragmentación del hábitat en la diversidad y estructura genética de especies forestales del NEA y se analiza el impacto de los cambios ambientales naturales y antrópicos en la distribución de linajes, especies y comunidades mediante SIG.
