Investigadora dentro de proyectos I+D subsidiados por organismos nacionales (UNS, CONICET, AGENCIA) e internacionales (C.E.Europea para la Cooperación Científica Internacional, IPGH, IAI). Desde 2011 directora de proyectos I+D y Extensión Universitaria (UNS,CONICET,AGENCIA,FITBA). Las líneas de investigación se centran principalmente en tres ramas de la Geografía Física: Hidrografía, Geomorfología (Fluvial) y Climatología. La aplicación de estos conocimientos se destina a la gestión de cuencas, riesgos de inundación y al ordenamiento territorial. Dentro de este contexto y en muchos casos mi labor se desarrolla bajo convenios de servicio, asesorías y colaboración con instituciones gubernamentales como la Municipalidad del Bahía Blanca, Municipalidad de Tornquist, Organismo Provincial para el Desarrollo Sustentable (OPDS), Autoridad del Agua (ADA) y organismos privados. Desde 1998 docente concursada de las cátedras de Climatología, Hidrografía Continental y Marina y Geografía Física (UNS). En la actualidad soy co-directora del Grupo de Geografía Física Aplicada del DGyT-UNS.
