La linea de investigación que llevo a cabo se focaliza en la ecotoxicología acuática. Trata principalmente sobre los mecanismos de toxicidad de diferentes contaminantes ambientales, en particular a través del estudio del metabolismo oxidativo, y la transferencia de estos a lo largo de diferentes cadenas tróficas acuáticas. Se realiza un enfoque multidisciplinario mediante experimentación a campo y laboratorio, utilizando determinaciones fisicoquímicas y bioquímicas, como también estudios ecológ... Trata principalmente sobre los mecanismos de toxicidad de diferentes contaminantes ambientales, en particular a través del estudio del metabolismo oxidativo, y la transferencia de estos a lo largo de diferentes cadenas tróficas acuáticas. Se realiza un enfoque multidisciplinario mediante experimentación a campo y laboratorio, utilizando determinaciones fisicoquímicas y bioquímicas, como también estudios ecológicos donde se analiza la estructura poblacional de las comunidades, para tratar de evaluar y determinar eficazmente el impacto de la calidad del agua sobre el metabolismo de los organismos acuáticos estudiados, con el objeto de ser utilizado para explicar la dispersión de especies invasoras en detrimento de las especies nativas.
